UZBEK-BELARUSIAN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL CONFERENCE
"COMPOSITE AND METAL-POLYMERIC MATERIALS FOR DIFFERENT INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE"
On May 21-22, 2020 at the State Unitary Enterprise "Fan va tarakkiyot" at the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov an International Uzbek-Belarusian scientific and technical conference was held on the topic: "Composite and metal-polymer materials for various industries and agriculture." Conference was held ONLINE.
The conference was held in accordance with the "Agreement on cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the fields of science and technology" dated September 13, 2018.
The conference was held in the direction of developing modern technologies for producing composite, metal-polymer, paint and varnish, elastomeric and nanocomposite materials of a new generation, studying their stage of the technological process, obtaining various products from them, as well as determining their area of application.
The conference heard plenary and sectional reports in the following areas:
More than 150 scientists from two countries, 61 universities and organizations, including 19 research institutes and 5 companies and 13 different enterprises took part in the conference.
Scientists from the Republic of Belarus took an active part in the work of the International Conference: the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus headed by Academician Petr Aleksandrovich Vityaz, Scientific research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus: Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems named after V.A. Beliy (Director, D.Sc. , Prof. Grigoriev A.Ya.), Institute of Chemistry of New Materials (Director, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Agabekov V.E.), Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Director M. Kheifets), Institute of Applied Physics and NPO Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was attended by such universities as the Belarusian National Technical University (rector, doctor of technical sciences, prof. Kharitonchik S.V.), Belarusian State Technological University (rector, doctor of technical sciences, prof. Voitov I.V.), Belarusian State University of Electronics and Radio Engineering (rector, doctor of technical sciences, prof. Bogush V.V.), Belarusian Agrarian Technical University, Gomel State Technical University named after V.V. P.A. Sukhoi (rector, doctor of technical sciences, prof. Timoshin S.I.).
On the part of the Republic of Uzbekistan, scientists and researchers from the institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, universities and educational institutions of the system of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education took part. Scientists and specialists from the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers, Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry and Institute of Chemistry and Physics of Polymers of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Technology.
Regional educational institutions such as the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Navoi State Mining Institute, the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, the Bukhara Engineering and Technological Institute, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute, the Samarkand State University, the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, the Karshi Engineering Institute, took an active part in the conference. Economic Institute, Jizzakh Pedagogical Institute, Nukus State Pedagogical Institute, Gulistan State University. Representatives of industrial enterprises such as JSC "Almalyk MMC", JSC "Navoinsky MMC", divisions of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" and SJSC "Uzkimyosanoat" also showed interest in the work of the conference. More than 150 reports were announced for the conference.
The conference participants were greeted by the chairman of the scientific and technical conference, academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.S. Negmatov. who noted that on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev paid great attention to further strengthening interstate ties between our countries, friendship and cooperation in various sectors of the economy, including in the field of education and science. The manifestation of the development of these relations was the holding of this Uzbek-Belarusian international scientific and technical conference.
A welcoming speech was heard to the participants of the conference by the Head of the Staff of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Deputy Head of the IAAS, the Belarus-Finland Friendship Society, Academician, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus P.A. Vityaz, Head of the Department for the Development of Research and Innovation Activities of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. B.M. Ismailov, Head of the Department of Science and Development of Scientific and Technical Research of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics Sh.I. Otajonov, rector of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, doctor of technical sciences, prof. CM. Turobjonov.
At the plenary sessions, reports of leading scientists and specialists in the field of composite materials science of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Belarus were heard. Scientists from Belarus made reports on the relevant topics: Academician Petr Aleksandrovich Vityaz, University professors Viktoria Kulikovskaya, Aleksandr Yakovlievich Grigoriev, Mikhail Lvovich Kheifets and Leonid Petrovich Pilinevich, research assistant Viktoria Yurievna Shumskaya.
And also the conference participants listened with great interest to the reports of scientific works of our Uzbek scientists professors: A.Kh. Yusupbekov, H.T. Sharipov, I. T. Kattaev, U. M. Turdialiev, A.A. Sarimsakov, N.R. Barakaev, M.M. Yakubov, M.N. Iskandarova, B.F. Mukhiddinov, in which they determined the prospects and directions for the development of research in the field of composite materials science, the creation on their basis of new effective technologies for obtaining composite and metal-polymer, paint and varnish, elastomeric and nanocomposite materials and products from them.
